Coryton is a district of the capital city of Wales, Cardiff lying immediately to the north of Whitchurch next to junction 32 of the M4. It falls within Whitchurch & Tongwynlais electoral ward. The district contains a mix of early and mid 20th century suburban housing estates, 1960s council housing properties and some post-2000 modern developments. Due to the area's close proximity to Whitchurch it has few amenities of its own, although to those from elsewhere it is probably best known for The Hollybush public house with its carvery restaurant which lies opposite the Hollybush estate housing development, the Village Hotel, adjacent to J32 of the M4 motorway, the Coryton interchange, and the biggest Asda supermarket in South Wales. The area is named after Sir Herbert Cory, former Conservative MP of Cardiff and one of the Cory baronets, coal mining and ship owning capitalists. The area is served by Coryton railway station, the terminus of the Coryton Line. Coryton also has its own football team Inter Coryton that plays its home games in nearby Caedelyn Park. The club is managed by David Miller. == External links == *(www.geograph.co.uk : photos of Coryton and surrounding area ) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Coryton, Cardiff」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
